List of artificial objects on the Moon

“The following table is a partial list of artificial objects on the surface of the Moon. They have been abandoned after having served their purpose. The list does not include smaller objects such as the retroreflectors. Nor does it include several commemorative or personal objects left there by Apollo astronauts, such as the golf balls from Alan Shepard’s lunar driving practice during Apollo 14, or the statuette left by the crew of Apollo 15.” MORE ➲

Something else that was left on the moon.

The moon

Like the Spongmonkeys sang, “We like the moon! Way up high, up in the sky! We like the moon!” So let’s learn more about it, shall we?

About
di4ent is an experiment. It's a collection of topical rotating wunderkammeresque distractions and delights. In other words, every month I'll choose four topics that I'd like to learn more about, or that I already find interesting and want to explore. Every weekday there will be a new post in each of the four topics. I decided to start it to give form and aim to my endless online wanderings. Plus I just like creating work for myself. So, I guess it's an online experiment in learning, linking, research and wasting time.
